The challenge in marketing the efforts of a Museum that teaches remembrance of the dark histories of genocide and prejudice in the world— is to celebrate the uplifting work of it’s educational mission, while paying homage to the realities of the past. The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center opened in 2009 in a region of the Chicago area that had become home to thousands of Holocaust survivors in the years following WWII. The Museum stands for the abolishment of all kinds of hatred, prejudice and indifference and today educates over 120,000 visitors and 65,000 students annually.
We have had the honor of supporting this non-profit institution for over 8 years with ongoing marketing, membership, and development work— with the sole purpose of exciting people to engage in their purpose. In an effort to funnel as much of their revenue back into critical programming, we have helped establish strong and effective recurring event branding that can be efficiently refreshed year to year — as well as provide strength in consistency for their most critical annual revenue generating events.
